Interview with Bob Dagger of High Vibe

November 15, 2011  |   Audio,Interviews   |     |   6 Comments

Bob Dagger with Kate in the High Vibe Store, NYC, Oct ’11

Kate caught up with Bob over Skype. Bob has a store in NYC called High Vibe. The store has been in operation since 1993, and was the first rawfood store in the USA. The store is a great little place, stacked with tons of raw produce and an exhaustive library of books, well worth checking out if you are in the area. Bob has been on the raw path for twenty years and has some great things to say about living with compassion, the value of change, being in the heart, and the importance of staying positive (He is talking from the shop so the audio quality isn’t always the best when the customers come in, sorry).

The rest of this content is only available to members of Kates Magic Bubble. But don't worry, you can access it really easily. See the options below, membership starts from just £5.

Hi Kate, fascinating interview, thank you! Also, hope you had a fabulous birthday surrounded by beautiful people – happy healthy birthday!

A few questions I would really appreciate your thoughts on please:

    1. Castor oil packs – can they be placed anywhere? Do you place them where you feel discomfort, blockages or pain? (I am recovering from meningitis and wonder if castor oil backs placed on the spine and base of neck could help? In addition can they be placed over tight muscles?)

    2. Apple pie! You mentioned you made this. Would you be able to share your recipe with us please? It sounds delicious!!

Many thanks. These interviews are so inspiring and the knowledge you all share I am hugely grateful for.

    Shellx

Thanks for your really helpful YouTube clip. Do you need to soak a wad of fabric in castor oil, as you showed, or is it sufficient to only have two three small layers soaked? Am looking forward to trying this!! X

yea 2 or 3 layers shld be enough. u dont exactly soak it. u dribble the oil on & it absorbs in2 the fabric. its very messy! its a great thing to do this time of year as its so dark, it brings in the light into our bodies. i am planning to do some next week.
