The Recipe for a Brighter Day

Be Blessed

January 23, 2012  |   Kale Chips,Recipes   |     |   0 Comment

Serves four
You need a blender and a dehydrator.
You need to pre-soak your cashews for 4-8 hrs. The kale chips will take about 15 mins to make. Then they need 18 hrs in the dehydrator.

The first kale chips I ever bought were the Blessings ones from California. It wasn’t that long ago, but it seemed like such a revelation at the time to buy a commercially produced raw product like that.  We used to import them from California, and we had to charge a fortune for them because of all the shipping and customs, but we still sold a ton of them. The reason the Blessings chips taste so good, I am sure, is that the woman who runs the company has Tibetan monks working for her. All the kale chips are handmade by Tibetan monks! How cool is that?

As you may know, I’m not such a big fan of cashews. There’s a reason they are inside that poisonous fruit, I believe, and that’s cos we are not meant to eat too much of them. I know they taste great, and make the most delicious raw creams and mayonnaises, but they don’t feel good in my body at all. So I would say, enjoy these, but definitely don’t overeat on them.
