The Recipe for a Brighter Day

We Don’t Stop

January 16, 2012  |   Writing   |     |   1 Comment

As a teenager, I used to sleep forever, twelve hours a night, easy. My mum used to say, you’ll never get a proper job if you can’t get up in the mornings, and she was right, I never did get a proper job. When I went raw, I noticed, along with most people, that I needed less sleep. And every year that passes, my need for sleep diminishes. Currently, I would estimate I average five or six hours a night. That’s half of what I used to need! Even if you take the average person to need eight hours a night, and use my conservative personal estimate of six hours, that’s still an extra 14 hrs of awake time a week, which is a whole day!

WOW! I dream of this. I feel re-assured by an earlier comment from you – re: plan to go raw long-term i.e 5 years to fully adapt. I have had just a few meals RAW having read and thought about it for 2-3 years. I’ve just started the journey with a very puzzled family!! I dream of this as I spend my life in a “Fuzzy haze” and always feel that I’m chasing my tail. Here’s to a successful journey.
